Discussed static, and the customer's filters in particular. When they had the basement redone, the static was actually improved do the work they did. Changing to a less restrictive filter will get it the rest of the way needed so it's right at max.
Upon arrival I began the furnace tune up. First, I took a static pressure test. This system is rated for a max of .5 and on my first test it was at .7 which was too high. I recalibrated your blower motor and switched the filter type and got the static total down to .53. Next, I checked the running amps on the inducer and blower motor and both were testing within manufacturer specifications. Next, I took a temperature split on the system. I had 120 degrees supply temp (-) 75 degree return temp (=) 45 degree temp rise is within specs. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call us! Water Softener Replacement Service: Hard water issues caused scaling and appliance inefficiency in a homeowner’s property. We replaced the old water softener with an advanced system, ensuring better water quality and protecting plumbing fixtures from mineral buildup.

Picked up battery and charger. Still no leaking water downstairs so my fix worked. Job Complete.
Upon arrival the homeowner explained there was water leaking downstairs next to the new furnace that was just installed earlier today. Upon inspection I found the humidifier drain nipple has loose and leaking water. Also noticed the solenoid valve was leaking water as well. Lastly, I found a leak at the tri-connection point in the drain lines. One of the collars on the drain was stripped out and leaking onto the floor. I fixed all these loose fittings and cleaned up all the after on his basement floor. Customer was very thankful we came out tonight to make this right. Installing new furnace, as well as a new return, drop and return registers. We are also adding a filter box and a humidifier. And we are getting rid of the old termination box and adding a switch to power the furnace.

Plumbing Installation: A customer wanted to add a utility sink in their garage for washing tools and garden equipment. I installed a sink with hot and cold water supply lines, a drain connection to the sewer system, and a durable faucet. The sink added convenience and functionality while blending with the garage’s aesthetic.

Completed furnace maintenance and inspection. I checked all components and amp draws. I tested airflow and temp split. I cleaned up furnace and cleaned flame sensor. I changed out customer provided air filter. I made sure humidifier was set for winter. Furnace is operating within manufacture specifications at departure.

Arrived at customers for furnace tuneup, and during the inspection, we discovered there was a shortage of CFM count that failed on the Supply short of 305 CFM. Other than that all other components met within factory specs.

Went for a service call today. Customer mentioned that she believes the inducer motor is acting up. after diagnosing the unit, I noticed that the inducer motor was having some issues. after checking the heat exchanger. I found multiple cracks so I read tag the unit and shut the gas off to it. Thank you for choosing LBA services!

I will be checking with Tom in the A.M. to drop off warranty parts. ()(()(/()///(**((*(*(**((/((*((((( This is a warranty repair. The compressor was replaced. In addition to this a hard-start kit, a bleed through txv valve and a filter drier was also installed. The compressor was checked after installation. The system was vacuumed properly and was charged to the manufacturer’s specs. Tech notes: York, m/n YCD18SB21SA, s/n C2C3491725, new comp, hard start, liquid line filter drier and thermal expansion valve, R-410a 3lbs 3oz.

During this visit I met Mitch and he explained to me that the breaker for the outside condenser was tripping immediately. This started occurring yesterday. I checked the supply voltage and removed the compressor from the circuit. The outdoor fan ran properly and within amp rating for the motor. The capacitor was checked and it was also in range (40.45, 40uf). The compressor motor leads were ohmed (200+,300+ and open). The outdoor fan was removed and the compressor leads were visually checked then removed. The compressor was megged at the terminals to cleaned copper. The compressor has electrically failed in this condenser. I checked for any signs of leaking refrigerant at the condenser, compressor, txv and the filter drier with no evidence of a refrigerant oil discovered. I attached a pressure gauge and confirmed that the system does have refrigerant.
