Like most other businesses these days there is always a push to sell more products and services. The businesses would say they are just keeping their customers informed so they can make intelligent decisions. LBA is one of these companies and my technician did what the company asked him to. Even though this was not “high pressure” I, as a senior with a fixed income, just need long lasting products with normal maintenance.

LBA called earlier this week to see if we would like to schedule our “free” furnace check up and thank God we did. JJ came in, very professional and got to work servicing the Furnace. After a bit, he came to me & asked if he could bring another serviceman in to verify what he found but that he thinks we have a CO2 leak and a possible crack. He encouraged me to not worry about it till the other guy would get here and get us a confirmation. When Dre came in (again; kind, thorough, patient, knowledgeable), they both checked and when they came up, they verified we in deed had a leak and crack in our system. They immediately Red Tagged our system and shut it off at the unit. They both immediately sat down with my husband & I & laid out the options. They offered space heaters to use if we needed. The manager Matt even said he would help fight the home warranty company if we had problems with them approving the replacement. They also seemed fine with us getting a second and third opinion for the warranty company. With the temps coming this weekend, JJ did have time in the morning to replace it. We are getting other HVAC people to come out and verify everything - before the purchase. (Which they encouraged us to do and explain how they should do the testing to make sure it’s done right. We have used LBA for the last three years and we are very happy with everything they have done and the grace they have shown us over that time.

Scott called before he headed over, respected our property, kept me informed and replaced a fan motor quickly. He made a point to ensure any questions that I had were answered and he fully tested the system in all modes before he left.

This guy was a manager of some type that was called out when something did not check out correctly with my service man. He came out and then the service checked out ok. I don't have a problem with either service man that came out yesterday nor the others before them. But it seems every single time, they have to call the "boss" out to check out something that does not look right. Been going on for 7 years now at my regular check ups. Then the boss comes and tells you what is wrong and need to be fixed. I don't like that kind of selling. Makes me feel it is just a tactic to sell you something more. I never buy what they are selling and my unit continues on working just fine. It makes me leery of knowing if I really need something more done or not. Wish they would just do the inspection I have asked for and quit the big sell every time.

I am so glad I reached out to LBA for my hvac needs. From JJ and Scott who came out to diagnose, clearly explain the situation, and worked within my budget, to the team who came out and installed my new furnace and ac within a few days. It can be scary dropping that kind of money as a homeowner when you don’t know what’s going on with your system, only knowing there is something wrong. But everyone was informative, knowledgeable, and transparent which I sincerely appreciate. Will definitely be using LBA for additional services in the future.

Jj helped me find the bad part on my humidifier filter that had flooded my basement. They got here quick but had to order a part so that was the only downside

I was really disappointed at how they arrived and walked throughout the house without booties on until I asked them to wear them and pretty frustrated at how messy they left my house. At every vent, there was white pieces all over that it took me two days to vacuum all of it up.

Day after bad storm & still fit us into hectic schedule as their power @warehouse was out & had to call each other for parts. Robby came by with the part we needed, was friendly &chatty. Adam Jorgenson who had recommended Hard-start kit installed it for us. Appreciate the flexibility of LBA's technicians.

Robby is outstanding technician---quite talented with strong fund of knowledge.
