Furnace repair. I inspected the system and discovered that the furnace wasn’t igniting due to a faulty igniter that had worn out over time. After carefully diagnosing the issue, I replaced the igniter and ensured all connections were secure. Once the repair was complete, the furnace was tested and restored to proper working condition, providing reliable heat for the home.

Set up RTP for 11/22 9am
Arrived to customers for the furnace tuneup in during the inspection, receive the high car on static pressure along with discovering a dirty blower wheel and biological growth at the condensation drain pan under the evaporator coil. All other components met within factory specs.
Confirmed that the source of the noise in the ductwork was caused by thermal expansion. After the system runs in heating mode the sound is heard most prevalently in the master bathroom. Aeroseal, a method of internally sealing the duct work to close up leaks, softens the sound inside the duct work and helps prevent the noise caused by thermal expansion by cushioning the ductwork joints. Retested static pressure at Earline's request. System is failing static pressure indicating there is an issue with the airflow, likely in the ductwork. The thermal expansion noise in the duct work will not harm her system in any way, nor affect the operation in either heating or cooling mode.
