Checked multiple areas in the house and at the unit itself but the carbon monoxide is not coming from the furnace. It’s very possible that the carbon monoxide detector is faulty or is picking up other particles that are displacing oxygen. I changed the gas valve to lower the carbon.

Diagnosed a bad flame sensor. Gas pressure met factory specifications. Furnace has a 45 degree temp split. After replacing the flame sensor and cleaning the burners, the furnace is up and running for 20 minutes before I left and continued to run. Thank you for choosing LBA services!

Free service today since there weren’t any repairs needed. Both filters were clogged with drywall dust. Customer said filters weren’t that old so the ductwork is really dirty. With the filters getting so full of drywall the blowers ramp up in speed trying to compensate for the lack of airflow. This causes weird airflow noises and causes to ductwork to suck in or pop in like a straw collapses when you pull too hard through it. Brought up having a thorough duct cleaning done again. This would eliminate all the dirt that’s causing these issues and not allowing the filters to last as long as they should. House was built back in the 50s or so. That means the ductwork has the original construction dust as well as 50 years of dust, debris, allergens, and skin cells. Matching price quoted from last year.

A-1 Sewer & Septic Service performed the following services 2/4/2025: - Arrived on site and attempted to camera the line. Found that the line connected to the manhole. - Excavated where the sewer line left the house, down approx 9ft deep. - Removed a section of the sewer line from the trench. - Prepped manhole for pipe burst. - Performed pipe burst through manhole approx 40ft long. - Used hydraulic cement to reseal the manhole. - Reconnected plumbing in the trench near the house. - Bed new plumbing in gravel. - Performed visual, dye test, and camera inspection with an inspector from JCWW. Passed inspection. - Backfilled trench near the house getting the dirt as flat as possible. - Hauled off job-related spoils.
Rob has offered superior support in a challenging situation which came as a surprise. As I was home (after a week in hospital) recovering from surgery, suddenly we had a sewage backed up drain in basement. From what might have been relatively standard unclogging of drain with a snake, Rob came to make sure all was ok since Eli (also top notch professional with genuine compassion and care) had encountered some difficulty in releasing the snake. Turned out our clay sewage pipe from house to city sewer point was severely damaged with abundant intrusion of tree roots blocking the line. Suddenly a backed up sewer drain became a major issue of replacing the pipe (bursting). Rob was invaluable in explaining the issues, guiding me through insurance process, and achieving good financing option.

Came out here to do a furnace tuneup. Upon arrival tested static static was passing. CFM’s were short just a tad bit on the supply side within the unit. Everything else is running perfectly fine no carbon monoxide reading within the ductwork. My combustion analyzer showed me no concerns as well. Clean flame sensor replaced filters. Sure that everything within the heating cycle is working fine. The only thing I did see with the blower wheel itself was starting to get significantly dirty which customer has been made aware of thank you for choosing Lba services

Phone call by Jamie

Red tagged furnace due to cracked hx. Customer was stepping away from calls for just a few minutes at a time. He was frazzled. Son has big bball game tonite. I expect to discuss tonite or tomorrow. He needs a 2 star air flow and furnace. I’ve got a 2 star w/ full system set as best value. They do not plan on living here much beyond 3 yrs when son graduates.

Upon arrival I began the furnace tune up. First, I ran a static pressure test. This system is rated for a max static pressure of 0.5 iwc. And your system is testing at .72 which is failing above the max allowed. Next, I checked the running amps on the inducer and blower motor and both were amping with manufacturer specifications. Since the static was failing I ran a test for any CO leaks and I got a hit of CO inside the supply ductwork @ 26ppm(part per million). Next, I got my inspection camera and started looking at the heat exchanger. I found a crack right up front where the flame chambers are located. I also found some rust and what appear to be small holes. I’ve shown these pictures to the homeowner. My Field Supervisor Jamie is here to retest for CO leaks and to make sure the system is safe. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call us! Your LBA Technician, Tyler Rickard P.S. No payment was due for todays visit, it was covered with your membership. Have a grea

Started tuneup. I checked airflow which passed. Changed customers filter which was really dirty. I also checked humidifier which isn’t working and needs maintenance done badly. I checked amp draws which were within manufacture specifications. I tested for carbon monoxide and got a reading of 21ppm before I shut furnace off. I notified customer of the unsafe readings. I also notified customer that I had someone coming out to reverify readings and provide a second set of eyes on the heat exchanger so we can verify if system is truly unsafe to run or not. Customer declined revarification, declined red tag and is wanting another company to come out and run their own tests. Since customer declined revarification and decided to run the risk of running an unsafe furnace I strongly recommended turning the thermostat down quite a ways so the furnace barely runs, if at all.

Dropped filters off.

Great service experience.
The service was excellent, however having a $1500 control board fail on a 6 year old furnace was totally unexpected. I purchased the furnace and AC from LBA and am very disappointed in the reliability of the furnace purchased.
Jamie put together a proposal that bundled services based on the findings of the inspection process. He then modified it based on my needs. He listens to customer, and is very knowledgeable.
Tyler has a high professional competence with an authentic personal way of creating. I greatly appreciate his guidance and support. He is a big part of why I’m a longtime loyal LBA customer.
Eli was able to find the root of the problem with my furnace (too small duct work) after years of issues that other HVAC service companies simply repaired the symptoms for. Relieved to have this serious issue resolved. Top notch personnel at LBA.
After years of using other HVAC companies, LBA was able to identify exactly what was causing my years-long issues with my furnace and AC. Had it scheduled and fixed the next day. Couldn’t be happier with their expertise and service.
Friendly and knowledgeable technician that explained each step performed during the annual furnace inspection. Highly recommend.
