We are installing a 95% furnace, and AC. We will be installing a new drop with filter box. Putting the system up on the can and separating the furnace from the coil. We will also be repairing part of the ductwork above the supply and replacing the 3 inch flu for the water heater. If possible, we will put in a quarterturn for the gas valve.

House has two systems for system is zoned and controls the basement and the top floor. The system looks good all components running well within manufacture specifications. Static pressure was good replaced the filter. The copper pipe leading to the water heater for the humidifier is very corroded which is leading a minimal amount of water through. This will need to get replaced at some point if we end up replacing the second furnace, we will do it complementary. The second system that does the lower four is 17 years old. It was having trouble in gas mode because it was short cycling. It was doing this due to a lack of pressure. After checking the heat, exchanger and seeing a massive amount of leaking outside the inducer pan I found multiple cracks and holes. The eyelits had also been destroyed in multiple areas which is leaking carbon and moisture into the air. The inducer motor was also over ramping by quite a bit and the blower was having trouble starting up. Because of this replacin

Quoted work for a 46bft liner, 2 reinstatements and a 6 ft inside spot repair
Proposed new system to replace primary. Customer upset bc we found problems and red tagged his furnace. He stated throughout our visit that he wouldn’t replace the equipment now but knew he needed a new ac and would replace both.
Arrived to do a dual system performance maintenance. Before setting up for tests found that the inducer for the Lennox system is leaking flue condensation. Set up for combustion analysis and static pressure tests. Found that the Lennox system would pass with a less restrictive filter but was unable to get the upstairs system to a passing point. Verified operation of all mechanical and electronic components in each furnace. Found that an auxiliary limit on the upstairs system had flue condensation on it and would cause the system to short cycle. Was able to clean the limit and get the system to heat properly, but this will happen again if the vent for the system is not fixed. Cleaned the flame sensors and retested their performance. Checked blowers for cleanliness and to see if there is any play in the bearings. Found that the fan in the main floor system is coated in dust debris. Checked systems heat exchanger to ensure proper venting of flue gas. Found that the gasket between the prim

Today I returned with a new pressure switch and installed it. Tested system but it still wasn’t working properly. After inspection I found a baby bird had crawled all the way from the exhaust pipe outside all the way down into the inducer motor so it wasn’t allowing the inducer to create the correct amount of pressure to push the exhaust gases out the flue pipe. After removing the inducer housing and clearing all of the bird/debris from the bird I was able to get the unit back up and running properly now. Your inducer motor had a lot of strain put on it during this time. I would recommend changing out your inducer motor and housing before it breaks on you guys and then you will be without heat again if that happens. This would be a preventative maintenance option for you and I will include this as an estimate sent to your email. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us. Have a great weekend ahead! P.S. Took payment with card on file in the amount of $794.00

Upon arrival the heat was not working. After inspection I found that the pressure switch has gone bad and needs to be replaced. Created an estimate for the replacement and has the homeowner sign for the repair. I did not take any payment today, I will collect after installing the new pressure switch in the morning. Advised homeowner i would call him in the morning after I get the part in hand to give him a heads up when I’ll get here. My Field Supervisor Scott is here to discuss the static pressure and low CFM counts on the return ductwork. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us. Have a great night and I’ll see you guys tomorrow morning!
Completed furnace maintenance and inspection.I checked all components and amp draws. I cleaned flame sensor and spark igniter. Talked with customer the whole time and was appreciative of the company. We talked about how a humidifier and surge protectors would be beneficial for the system, home and personal comfort. Furnace looks good and is running within manufacturing specifications at departure.
System is operating good at this time. CFM and airflow are good and static pressure is passing. Came out to double check any findings Chase had and to check in with the customer to see how LBA was doing for her. Other than a few recommendations that Chase has regarding a bypass humidifier and a surge protector, everything else is performing well! Thank you for choosing LBA! - Walker
