Dispatch that the furnace was not working. At arrival the homeowner had the system turned off. I turned the system on and the furnace, went into first stage successfully. During the first stage of heating, there was a 33° temp rise. After 10 minutes second stage turned on and there was a 51° temp rise. After letting the system run for another 15 minutes. The system continued to heat. Then turned the system off and then back on and the furnace came back one. During this visit, there was no adjustments made to the furnace. Thank you for choosing LBA services.

Roof access door is broken, lock works but handle doesn’t operate. This has been relayed to Stan and the employee on-site co-witnessed. They will contact us when the lock is repaired. ****couldn’t even slide something into it slide the lock over and non-damaging prying was attempted, ***Filters in shop or on Jon’s truck. Hung onto them since hey are an odd filter to source. If we hear nothing after a week they will be returned.

Base can installed on old system

Completed AC inspection for customer. All aspects of system tested within manufacturer specifications with the exceptions of static pressure and blower motor amperage. Extensive ductwork has been done in home to remedy elevated static pressures, customer paid for a base can that was not installed during a prior service, we have scheduled to have that put in. Once base can is installed static pressure will drop and blower amps will go down as well because blower will have more available air. No other recommendations at this time.

Customer wants to retest static with electrostatic filter after base can install tomorrow, she will then decide to do the UV or not

Emailed whole house dehumidifier estimate.

Installed 4ton ac w5ton coil, new 6 inch base can, new return boot and filter slot

Got ahold of Sarah, she would like me to get her an estimate on a whole house Dehumidifier and all available financing plans. Will get with Tracy tomorrow to schedule a follow up next week to go present to her and the husband.

Came out here for a no cool call customer stated that when AC was on yesterday it did not function said that the fan itself was spinning, but it was blowing hot air. I checked the outside unit came to find out that there was a mouse stuck on the actual capacitor which caused it to go bad. Customer decided to get a new capacitor for the unit installed new capacitor unit is up and running perfectly fine thank you for choosing LBA

Carrier system has static pressure issues, a very rusted evaporator coil, fan motor is getting close to over amping. Lennox system is running great. Refrigerate levels met factory specifications. Fan motor and compressor amperage passed. Capacitor passed as well. We will be back to wash the condenser coils when water turns back on. Thank you for choosing LBA services!

Sold microbial growth removal

Upon arrival I began the furnace tune up. First, I ran a static pressure test which was passing the manufacturer specifications. Next, I took a CFM count on the ductwork and the totals didn’t add up properly. My Field Supervisor Nick is coming out to help with a second set of eyes. I took a temperature split on the unit and it was within specs at a 54 degree temp rise. I checked the running amps on the inducer and blower motors. The blower tested within specs but the inducer is amping pretty high near the max which will eventually overamp which would be bad. The blower wheel itself has gotten dirty/dusty over the years and it needs to be cleaned at earliest convenience. I also noticed a lot of microbial growth on the outside of the system and on the inside. This type of growth can make you sick and we recommend having it all cleaned up. Nick will discuss with you further today. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us! Your LBA Technician, Tyler Rickard P.

Ramon is great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you.
Honest and knowledgeable. Thank you
Very polite and mindful of the situation. Good explanation of the problem. Worked quickly to acquire and install a furnace without notice.
Great effort in getting the install quickly. Polite and courteous.
Rob did a great job! He was extremely personable, friendly, polite and very thorough. He showed me evidence of my plumbing issue and walked me through it all explaining very thoroughly step by step-which I appreciate since I prefer to be educated about services that are required. He is a great asset to have to be the “face” of the company to homeowners.
Service tech Cornelius was very thorough with attention to detail. He was professional from start to finish.
Cornelius went about and beyond for us! Appreciate that Nick came out to make sure everything went well for us too! Very pleased with our service!!
Ramon was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient.
Ren was polite and got the job done in the time frame she stated when she arrived.
Scott McKinley is the reason my system has had so many issues and several thousand dollars of necessary repairs even though it is only 5 years old. He sold us the complete system in 2019 which was apparently too big for our houses ducting. Which lba only told us was the problem last year and which we needed to pay even more to mitigate Now we need the heat exchanger replaced on the furnace which seems all part of the initial screw up on hvac sizing At the time of working on enlarging the duct work, I let the technicians know I was unhappy with Scott’s lack of expertise or understanding and really didn’t want to interact with Scott again. Last week we had the yearly inspection for the AC and Ren identified pinholes and cracks in the furnace heat exchanger so we scheduled someone to come out for a follow up Then Scott shows up for the follow up. I can understand if he’s the closest person to me geographically but I had already noted I was unhappy with the experience and presumed it would not be Scott ever again. Onto the specifics of the follow up: Scott looked initially at the furnace and noted water damage to which I responded along the lines yes the water damage is because you installed a system that was too big for our ducting causing the static pressure issues to which Scott a very non committal answer. He continues his inspection and comes out with “so do you want me to quote you a new unit” It seems Scott hadn’t even reviewed Ren’s report. I informed him that he was there to confirm the cracked heat exchanger and get the warranty moving along for that part. He went back to my furnace blaming Ren for not including enough information (unlikely since ren showed me the photos she had taken as evidence of the pinholes) Scott comes back and says we can do a warranty on the heat exchanger but that the labor will be $3798. Way overpriced, but at this point I want to be done with Scott and done with LBA in general
Ren was helpful.
Ramon was terrific! He was friendly, courteous and always had a smile on his face! And he asked me about my experience with LBA and was actually interested in my answer - or he’s a great actor, but I don’t think so. Thanks Ramon!
Was fixed quickly & was a good tech.
Tyler did an great job!
David was friendly, knowledgeable, thorough and efficient. He explained fully what he did, why he did it and the results of his examination of my system.
As part of the package that I purchased with LBA, I received a furnace inspection. The tech who arrived was on time and friendly. However, he did not tell me that he would be drilling a hole into my flue as part of it. My home is 20 months old equipped with several CO detectors. He did not discuss this with me as I would’ve told him not to drill into anything. Next, he discovered a pressure sensor on my furnace was malfunctioning and was determining whether it was a maintenance issue or a technical one. As he was explaining the problem to me he then proceeds to examine the flue termination outside. This port has a fine grade on it. He explained that he wanted to cut the flue to inspect the inside of it for deceased rodents. At that point I told him that the grate installed with the unit precludes any animals from getting in and that he was not to cut into my flue any longer. I explained to him that he could use a camera to look into the hole he already bored out without permission. At that time he contacted his supervisor which told him to stop the maintenance altogether. Not only did the tech not provide me with the component that was broken on the unit, but then forged my signature on the maintenance form. I will not use LBA again for any services.
I’m sorry to hear about your disappointing experience with us. It’s always our intention to provide great customer service and useful, transparent advice. Please accept our sincerest apologies that we didn’t live up to your expectations on this occasion.
Service tech was thorough and respectful in explaining findings.
Careful review of inspection's findings
Excellent Service
Larry was awesome! Very thorough and explained everything.
Excellent service from friendly tech!
Top notch quality serviceman👌. Does the job as it should be done start to finish.
Nick did a beat job of identifying our problem. I couldn’t’ justify the cost to clean the vents with the possible improvement.
Very knowledgeable.
They we here most of the day yesterday and we thought things were fixed on an air conditioning unit. They installed it 3 years ago. It’s under warranty but we had to pay $800 for labor. The morning after supposed fix we realized it’s still not working correctly. Called them to come back out today but they said could not come out for two more days. The issue should have been fixed correctly the first day! We were lead to believe it was. We asked to speak to a manager on call and we were told there was none on the weekend. It is unacceptable.
