Water Filtration System Installation: A homeowner wanted to eliminate unpleasant odors and sediment from their water. I installed a whole-house filtration system with activated carbon and sediment filters. After testing the system, I explained filter replacement schedules and how to monitor water quality for long-term satisfaction.
Water Softener Installation: A family struggled with hard water stains and scale buildup in their plumbing. After testing their water, I recommended a whole-house water softener. I installed the system, adjusted it for optimal performance, and provided instructions for adding salt and routine maintenance. The family immediately noticed the benefits in softer water and reduced scale.
Duct Sealing and Repair: A homeowner experienced significant energy loss and high utility bills. Upon inspecting the duct system, I found numerous leaks and poorly connected sections. Using advanced sealing methods, including aerosolized sealant, I ensured all gaps were closed. This reduced energy waste and improved airflow throughout the home.
Water Heater Installation: A family needed to replace their old, inefficient gas water heater with an electric one. After assessing the electrical system and plumbing, I safely disconnected the gas line and removed the old unit. I installed a new 50-gallon electric water heater with a smart control system, ensuring optimal performance and energy savings.
Dishwasher Repair: A client reported water pooling at the bottom of their dishwasher. I disassembled the appliance to inspect the drainage system, finding a clog in the hose caused by grease and food debris. I removed the blockage, cleaned the filter, and tested the unit to ensure proper drainage. The client was given tips to avoid similar clogs, such as rinsing dishes before loading.
Sewer Repair: A homeowner contacted me about frequent sewage backups in their yard. Upon inspection, I found a collapsed section in the main sewer line. Using trenchless technology, I inserted a resin-coated liner into the damaged pipe, which hardened to form a new pipe inside the old one. This solution avoided extensive excavation, preserving the landscaping while restoring full sewer functionality within a single day.
12/19/24 Arrived at home and spoke with Nancy about reason I was called today, which was to install whole home water filtration for their halo five system. After disassembling old piping and location where I was putting filter I got started on connecting all of the copper and pro press before officially crimping it. Once all piping was cramped I turned water back on to test there were no leaks. turn water on at kitchen faucet as well as outside hose bib. Filtration system is working as properly collected signatures and headed out.

Upon arrival I began the furnace tune up. First, I ran a static pressure test. This unit is rated for a maximum of .9 and your system is testing within specs at .45 which is great. Next, I tested the unit for any CO leaks and found none. I checked the running amps on the inducer and blower motor and both tested within manufacturer specifications. I took a temperature differential aka the rise, 127 degrees - 79 degrees = 48 degree temp rise is within specs. Cleaned the flame sensor and replaced the filter with an Aprilaire #210. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call us! Your LBA Technician, Tyler Rickard P.S. I took payment today in the amount of $70.20 for the new Aprilaire filter. Arrived to remedy an inoperable system. Upon inspection of the system found that the system would fire successfully. Reset the system and tried the trial for heat again and found that the system would cut the flame out almost immediately. Tested the flame sensor and found it was barely relaying its signal. Cleaned the flame sensor and the system started as designed. Homeowner had previously asked about the humidifier. Checked over the humidifier and found that the solenoid valve is barely letting more than a drip through, and the humidifier panel was heavily coated in calcium buildup. Spoke with homeowner about setting the humidifier and when and where to manipulate the damper. With homeowners approval reached out to have a solenoid valve brought out. Replaced the humidifier water panel and cleaned out the drain for the humidifier. Flushed the water feed line to the humidifier to ensure that any other sediment left in the line is removed before the new valve goes on. Once the valve arr

Replaced communication board on customers mini split system. Previously diagnosed that the control board was failed after repairing rodent damaged wires. Replaced board and system is operating normally, suction line temp of 150* and higher.
Upon arrival I began the furnace tune up. First, I ran a static pressure test. This unit is rated for a maximum static pressure of .5 and it is testing at .53 in 1st stage heating & .95 in 2nd stage heating. I discussed this with the homeowners and they are aware the static pressure is failing but do not wish to make any changes to the system at this time. Next, I checked the running amps on the inducer and blower motor and both were testing within manufacturer specifications. The blower wheel looked very clean today. The homeowners change filters regularly so it was clean at todays visit. I did a temperature rise test to make sure it wasn’t overheating. The supply temp was at 124 degrees - return temp of 73 degrees = 51 degree temp rise is within specifications. Also, I did a CO test but test showed system at Zero PPM(parts per million). If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call us! Your LBA Technician, Tyler Rickard P.S. I took payment today in the amount of $228

Called for a follow up. I got no answer. If we end up doing the two systems with the water heater, we’re going to throw in an additional two bypass humidifiers one for each system. I noticed they were hardwood floors in the house as well as cabinets and other wood Carpentry. The humidifiers help with the lifespan of these. They also add moisture to the air so in the winter, you have no problems due to dry skin or coughing. Humidity also holds heat which means you will heat your house faster and it will stay warmer longer. So it also increases efficiency on top of comfort. We are going to add these for free due to the fact that you’re getting the water heater and the two systems.
