2-21-25 Spoke to Ed on site he took me down to the south east warehouse corner Cambridge unit it does come on however trips off pretty quick Found the blower motor belt was loose and hanging off. Also, the blower wheel bearings are bad. Spoke to Ed told me to locate parts and then we can get down here and remake repairs. I do have a call into the local Cambridge representative. SoldNovo Water Softening System, (Free 50 Gallon Water Heater) (Rebuild Main Entrance)

Upon arrival I began the furnace tune up. First, I ran a static pressure test on the system. This unit is rated for a max static pressure of .5 and it is currently testing at .96. Explained this to homeowner and he understands what is wrong and why it’s testing so high but he isn’t interested is fixing the ductwork. Next, I checked the temperature split which should be between 35 to 65 degrees. The system had a supply air temp of 124 degrees (minus) return air temp of 76 degrees = 48 degree temp rise within specs. I checked the running amps on the inducer and blower motor. Blower is within specs, inducer is amping near the max rating. Cleaned flame sensor, cleared hoses and pressure switches. Blower wheel very dirty and recommend cleaning. Will include an estimate for blower cleaning. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us! Your LBA Technician, Tyler Rickard P.S. No payment was due for todays visit. Have a great weekend!

Customer called for furnace not keeping up and operating properly. Found that furnace had codes saved for flame sensor and failed ignition. Cleaned flame sensor and cycled power multiple time and furnace ignited each time.

Increase supply cfm to reach static pressure req’s 1 star full system Bypass humidifier

They already purchased

Installed 90% furnace, 3ton ac, new boot, new ecobee thermostat, supply run in basement.

Sold 1 star full system and 1 star airflow to increase supply side cfm

Arrived to remedy an inoperable furnace. Upon inspection of the system heard the inducer humming like it is trying to operate but is unable. Opened the system up and verified that the inducer is receiving power. Tried to manually turn the inducer and it would hardly move, indicating a bearing failure. Performed other tests to ensure the system will be safe to operate once the inducer is replaced. Found that the heat exchanger is totally heat stressed and is on the edge of failure. Found that the blower wheel is coated in dust debris. Checked systems airflow and found the system operating with failing static pressure. Reached out to a field supervisor to finish the diagnosis on the systems static pressure and provide repair and replacement pricing. Homeowner would like to have the system replaced. Install is on the way with a furnace to get the home heating. System is not operational upon departure.

Flapper needs replaced that has been worn down in toilet hooked up to hot water supply, this is the issue leading to them getting brine water in their system after every regeneration cycle.

Ran backpack auger 25 ft Turned water on and pulled cable back, that process broke the block Put p-trap back together

Worked on kitchen sink. Dropped block with mini cable at 15 ft

Oh, this job I was performing routine maintenance on the furnace. I noticed the inducer was over amping and I was picking up 27 ppm on the CO detector. Static pressure was high which is an ongoing issue. Because of this I checked the heat exchanger and found multiple cracks and small holes as well as leakage for the moisture in the gas around all the eyelets. Because of this, I called a supervisor to get two sets of eyes on this issue and come up with the best options moving forward.

Brady did a great job installing a Novo water softener and filtration system as warranty replacement for the original unit. His only shortcoming was in not familiarizing himself with the entire plumbing layout, he failed to notice that the valve directing water through the filtration system was turned in the opposite direction, thus forcing the water to bypass it and go directly to the tankless water heater. Fortunately, I am intimately familiar with this layout and was thus able to turn the valve in the proper direction. Brady left here thinking our water was being treated by the system because he had set it to do so (at 25 ppm hardness), but he never actually tested the water at one of the taps. After my wife Paula reported that Brady had completed the job, I tested the water at the kitchen tap and found it to be at 125 ppm (which is the same hardness as the water provided by the City of Olathe. I can confirm that after I made the valve adjustment referenced above, our tap water is consistently at 25 ppm. I can excuse Brady's small (but critically important) error due to the complexity of our water supply system, as well as the tedious history of our problems with it.
My, now prior, hvac service provider failed to contact me back and provide and estimate on when a technician could look at my furnace when it quit working on a Saturday evening. I eventually called LBA, and the on-call technician called me back and worked out a plan to come look at my furnace late that night/early Sunday morning. Patrick was very professional and did a great job of finding an issue and getting the furnace running again. Unfortunately it quit again later that morning. After contacting LBA again, Patrick reached out letting me know where I was on the list. He again was very professional and troubleshot the issue, explaining everything along the way. He didn't leave until he was certain the unit was operational enough to work until Monday so a new switch can be installed. Very impressed with the dedication and professionalism shown. Have already switched my service to LBA. Great job and thank you Patrick!

Called LBA with concerns about a noisy furnace. Nick & JJ came same day. Both were patient with my questions and were professional the entire visit. Eli put the water heater in himself. No problems after kitchen faucet was found with no hot water. Eli corrected this issue before he left. Good service as usual.
Cornelius was prompt, friendly, and helpful. He asked questions about our system and answered my questions about his findings. He explained things clearly. He was clean and polite.
Good but tech forgot to flash the water tank..
I had appointment on a Monday, but LBA had to reschedule due to emergency calls and my appointment was just a tune up. So LBA was able to get to me by Friday the same week. They made me aware my furnace needed to be replaced because of carbon monoxide leaking into our home. Bad timing on this cost and we cannot afford a new furnace.
He did a great job. He was on time and did the work quickly.
I really appreciated the service. The Ramon was very respectful. Took time to answer all my questions. He did not try to up sell me any thing.
