Upon arrival the humidifier was not working. I started diagnostics and found that the solenoid was not wired to the humidistat. So, when I turned the humidifier on nothing happened. I re-wired it back up and then it powered on and I could hear the solenoid valve clicking open and closed but one of the connections that allows the water to get to the humidifier is clogged really badly. I tried everything to try and get an opening for the water to flow but was unable to fix it. Next solution is to replace the solenoid valve. Parts for the humidifier are still under warranty but the labor is not. I had customer sign off so I could order her the new solenoid valve and as soon as we get it in stock the customers service team will call to schedule the repair. My, now prior, hvac service provider failed to contact me back and provide and estimate on when a technician could look at my furnace when it quit working on a Saturday evening. I eventually called LBA, and the on-call technician called me back and worked out a plan to come look at my furnace late that night/early Sunday morning. Patrick was very professional and did a great job of finding an issue and getting the furnace running again. Unfortunately it quit again later that morning. After contacting LBA again, Patrick reached out letting me know where I was on the list. He again was very professional and troubleshot the issue, explaining everything along the way. He didn't leave until he was certain the unit was operational enough to work until Monday so a new switch can be installed. Very impressed with the dedication and professionalism shown. Have already switched my service to LBA. Great job and thank you Patrick!

Arrived to remedy an inoperable furnace. Upon inspection found that the inducer was running but the furnace would not go to the next step in the ignition process. Pulled the inducer hose off the pressure switch and found it creating suction. When going to test the switch electrically found that a wire was pinched between the inducer and the gas line, causing a short. Once this was no longer pinched the furnace fired as designed. Signed homeowner up for the maintenance plan and will have the office reach out to schedule maintenance and smart ac installation.

Out today for Navion tankless water heater producing no hot water. Upon arrival got on the phone with Navion and they confirmed a failed check valve issue. They are sending one out to us, and we will return Monday to put in a new one, in the meantime, internal recirculation has been bypassed, so that hot water can be used until then. Arrived to remedy a humidifier that is no longer operational. Found service light illuminated on the display panel. Turned off humidifier and allowed it to perform a flush. Removed the old steam canister and cleaned the drain to remove all old sediment. Installed a new o ring to seal the drain to the canister. Installed the new canister. Started unit up and it filled and created steam as designed. Humidifier is operating properly at this time.

Customer called for no heat. Upon arrival it was found that furnace door wasn’t properly secured and door switch was open. Reese urged to door and furnace was operational. Completed a full inspection on furnace and found it was producing carbon monoxide. Inspection of heat exchanger showed sever signs of heat stress and rust. Heat exchanger cells shown signs of separation. Turned over to field supervisor for further advisement.

I had appointment on a Monday, but LBA had to reschedule due to emergency calls and my appointment was just a tune up. So LBA was able to get to me by Friday the same week. They made me aware my furnace needed to be replaced because of carbon monoxide leaking into our home. Bad timing on this cost and we cannot afford a new furnace.

Johann was Fabulous! He was on time, courteous, and very through! My best experience with LBA since installing our furnace and AC unit in 2019. Technician respected my time, and when he was done with inspection, sat down with me to review inspection report. A hard copy inspection report where he went over all of the items tested during my furnace tuneup. Great add to process! Nowadays everything is lost in email and having the ability to file and quickly reference paper copy for us is a win -win! Best of all no hard sell or mention of Static Pressure. 😀 Thank you Johann.
