Went for a furnace service and maintenance. I wasn’t getting 24 volts from C to W on the control board, after jumping R and W on the thermostat the furnace was running, which indicated a bad thermostat. After installing the thermostat, i performed the maintenance. Static pressure passed. There was no carbon monoxide leaks. Heat exchanger was in ideal condition. Temp split between the supply and return duct passed. Gas pressure met factory specifications. Pressure switch passed. Blower motor amps passed and blower wheel was clean. Filters for the furnace and humidifier were clean.
Follow up call for tommorow as he’s getting another quote

Arrived at customers for furnace Inspection in during the inspection, we received a high call on static pressure. Other than that all other components met within factory specs
Replace the inducer assembly for the Lennox package unit serial 5607M01022 marked as #7. Price includes the factory replacement parts and labor. Repair covered by a one year parts and labor warranty. The existing inducer has failed bearings causing no heat. 10-16-2024 replaced inducer motor on system marked #7 system when to light but only sparked once. Cleaned spark igniter and tried again still same result. Found ignition board bad have quoted for new board
Unit number 4 Lennox had no 410a in the system. I leak searched and found a leak on the evaporator coil. I believe we might be able to fix it and not replace. Sent rick photos of where the leak is. Need to send a estimate to fix t&m
Came out here for on out the furnace itself was not functioning upon arrival open the lower compartment to make sure all wires were tight noticed that the W wire for heat was broken off so that was the reason it was not functioning. After that, we performed a whole inspection within the whole furnace itself to make sure nothing else is wrong with the system itself confirm that the inducer motor was bad as well as the heat exchanger with showing plenty of heat stress and Rust stick a CO detector inside the vents to make sure no carbon monoxide was inside the vents. We got a reading of 36 ppm inside the vents we did have to red tag the unit had field supervisor. Come out every test and verify my findings. Your supervisor has a follow up.

10-15-24 Quigley building RTU #2 Trane, motor protection is indicating ground fault is shutting down the blower motor. This is been an ongoing issue, but it seems to be real intermittent. I’m previous calls. We did find the motor was getting wet from the evaporator pan drain was clogged. Another visits, I didn’t notice that the motor and blower casing does seem to be a little on the moist side with condensation on them. We could have problems with. Airflow issues, refrigerant charge. We’re just trying to figure out why this motor is getting so damp. It is in the airstream directly off the evaporator, but there are other units just like this without this problem. I gave information to Rick. He’s gonna do a little research on it. I’m probably gonna go back in the morning and check my static pressure across my evaporator. I’m currently it is in the 50s out so AC is not gonna be used too much. The unit is working with the blower running the whole time I was here did not ship off once.
80k btu furnace and 14 seer ac/coil sold for Wednesday
Went for a furnace service call today. Customer mentioned the furnace wouldn’t run. After performing a diagnostic test, I noticed the exhaust flu was clogged. After unclogging it, the furnace was up and running. Next I checked for carbon monoxide, there was a leak. So I shut the gas off to the unit and red tagged it. Thank you for choosing LBA services!

Homeowner was logged into the thermostat app, but wanted to change his password. Once I tried changing it in the app for him, the app said the new password had to be more than 8 characters and they didn’t have an 8 character password ready. Left the password set to their original password to help make things easier. System is operating properly.
Completed furnace maintenance and inspection. Furnace is running safe and I cleaned up spark igniter and flame sensor. Pressure switch hose is clear of debris. Heat exchanger looks okay and I had a reading of 0ppm when checking for carbon monoxide. I found bacterial growth inside system and dust being the main source for that growth. Supervisor was here so he showed customer growth. At this time we changed out humidifier pad and furnace is running at departure.

Called back for leak after snaking. Got fixed and tested for leaks none for were found.
Static decline
Upon arrival I confirmed I was here today for a furnace and Ac tune up. I started with the furnace. First, I did a static pressure test. Your system is rated for .5 and it’s testing at .81 which is almost double the amount it should be. My Field Supervisor Nick will discuss this further with you. I checked your heat exchanger and found a crack which can cause CO to leak into your home when the Heat is turned on. I checked all the electrical components and found they were within manufacturer specifications. Your blower motor wheel is pretty dusty and I would recommend having it pulled and cleaned at your convenience. Next, I went outside to check the AC components. The compressor and fan motor running amps are both within specs. The dual run capacitor is below specifications. It is a size 45/7.5mfd, and the fan side was within specs but the compressor is below specs and needs to be replaced. I did not collect any fees for todays visit because Nick is going to collect on this one. If you
Arrived for furnace maintenance today. Static pressure is good. Ran combustion analysis to make sure fuel is burning properly. Heat exchanger had no cracks or rust. Carbon monoxide test was zero. All electrical components are running properly. System is running upon departure. Thanks for choosing LBA.
