After LBA installed a new tankless hot water system I learned the benefits included with a recirculating system on this particular Rinnai model. I received a quote, but no details of what was included in the quote. Over a period of days I talked with a handful LBA technicians about the details of what was included in the quote, but there was one question none could answer. Finally, I received a call from senior technician Chad who answered my question. I told him with that question being answered I was ready to accept the proposal. Chad. Thank you so much.

The technician arrived for an annual furnace check-up on Thursday. Unfortunately, he found the heat exchanger had several spots of corrosion that could have been allowing carbon monoxide into the house. He was required to tag it out of service. LBA provided enough space heaters that same day to heat the house until the following Monday, when a new furnace could be installed. The previous information leads to this review of the new furnace installation. This work was done well and on time. Some duct work was needed, which was also done well, except for the filter box. The box does not seal well and looks cheap. It is a shame that all this pretty installation and high technology is great until the filter box. Just looking at the box, it looks like a $1 add-on to a multi thousand dollar project.

I was told a technician would come out to finish the electrical for the newly installed tankless hot water system. Instead, a very young technician came out with instructions to assess the situation. This was a waste of two hours of my time and his.

We replaced the 50 gal. hot water tank with a tankless. Within a few hours the job was 90% complete. Since I ordered a condensing tankless system the exhaust PVC piping had to go out a wall near ground level, not the old exhaust that went up through the roof. To make a long story short, after a few hours of technical discussions an agreeable piping solution was agreed upon. One final hurdle was providing a nearby 120V electrical outlet. Since it was so late in the day, a temporary extension cord was used. The technicians then started the system & were finished for now. However, I had to make several phone calls to LBA until the electrical was properly completed.

I received a great offer from LBA to have both my air conditioner and furnace cleaned and inspected. Corbin came out to do the work. While I have had some HVAC training in college, I tagged along with Corbin to learn a little more. Corbin had the latest in test equipment and inspected all vital parts. I was very impressed with his knowledge and customer relation skills. I highly recommend this company.
