Upon arrival I began the furnace tune up. First, I ran a static pressure test. This system has a maximum static pressure rating of .5 and the system is testing at .7 which is above the max causing more stress on the furnace. Next, I ran a CO test to ensure the unit was safe to operate and I got a hit on my CO detector multiple times and I found 4 cracks in the heat exchanger that are causing the system to leak carbon monoxide. Homeowner has CO detector in his furnace room but it will only alarm if the CO is detected at 400ppm for 4 to 15 minutes and that is too late to find out it’s leaking. Per EPA Rules & Regulations we are required by law the add a “Red Tag” stating the heat exchanger had failed and we are shutting the furnace down. You may still use the fan or AC if needed. I wanted to get an estimate for replacing my mainline and unclog it, too. They did the scope to assess the line for replacement and I asked them to clear the clog and asked how much it would be for them to do it while they were on site. They said they didn't have the equipment in either van to snake the mainline and didn't offer to call anyone over or get me fixed up. So I went to Home Depot and rented a snake and did the job myself. The guys really were nice enough but they did leave me still stuck with a clog that I thought they would be able to take care of and didn't make any effort to get me fixed up in any way. I really hated leaving this review and didn't want to. But after asking me for a review 3 times, here ya go.

The attention and service of the guys was excellent. The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of communication due to the delay. It was planned for 12:00 and the first technician arrived around 15:00.
