Out today for water heater burner assembly not staying lit. Upon arrival determined that gas valve had failed. Gave homeowners options to repair rebuild and replace, they elected to replace it this time as it is a almost 20 year old unit. Installed new 40 gallon, gas water heater successfully with thermal expansion tank and new ball valve, tested, no leaks. Cleaned up work area and collected paid with a card.

Upon arrival I began the furnace tune up. This is a 2022 Goodman Furnace that IdealTemp installed. First, I did a static pressure test on the system. Your furnace is rated for a maximum static pressure of .5. In 1st stage the test is passing at .38 total. In 2nd stage it goes above the max to .6 which is failing. My Field Supervisor Scott is coming out to look into this further and to verify my readings. Next, I checked the running amps on the inducer and blower motor and both were testing within manufacturer specifications. I cleaned the flame sensor. The blower wheel is very secure. It does have some dust starting to build up but it’s not bad yet. Your Heat Exchanger still looks good, I found no cracks. I also did a CO test and found Zero PPM(parts per million). Arrive to customers for AC tuneup in during the inspection. We received a high call on static pressure. Other than that all other components met with the factory specs

Daniel and Judy mentioned that the downstairs has been very cold since the ductwork modification. Closed off a couple of vents after verifying that it would not negatively effect the static pressure. Advised keeping the fan on all the time to even out the temperatures upstairs and downstairs. Indoor fan assembly is beginning to get a layer of dust on it. Daniel and Judy said that they will have that maintenanced at another time since. System operating properly in heating, cooling, emergency heat, and fan only modes.

Completed furnace maintenance for customer, all aspects of system tested within manufacturer specifications. Cleaned and flushed humidifier for customer and ensured it is working. No recommendations at this time.

Out today for maintenance inspection as well as kitchen faucet having zero volume pressure from hot side. Homeowners were also interested in discussing water heater capacity as there are seven people in their home and a 50 gallon electric water heater is not proficiently heating the system. Homeowners would like us to come out Friday and speak with them about increasing water heater capacity because both will be present at that time. Also provided estimate for replacing customer provided kitchen faucet. Cleaned up work area did not collect.

Arrived to do a performance maintenance. Turned on the air handler at the thermostat. Measured the temperature split as the system ran as a heat pump and the transition to heat strips. Verified operation of each heat strip. Measured systems static pressure. Inspected system for cleanliness. Checked operation of the uv system. Ordered a replacement uv bulb. Moved inspection to the minisplit. Checked unit for cleanliness. Measured a temperature split, verifying the performance of the system. Signed homeowner up for the maintenance plan with smart ac sensors. Systems are operating properly at this time.

Came out here for the furnace tuneup. Upon arrival tested static pressure static was extremely high. Customer declined to have a field supervisor out here today but said he didn’t want to call on Monday and take a look at everything else itself got amps on the inducer and the blower motor. Both were looking good. I cleaned out his flame sensor as well as his pressure switch hoses got ohms on his hot surface igniter to make sure everything was running properly replace filter for him. Decline on duct cleaning

Went for a furnace maintenance call today. Static pressure failed, the system isn’t getting enough return air. There is no carbon monoxide leak. Heat exchanger was In ideal condition. Combustion analysis test passed. Temp split between the supply and return duct passed. Gas pressure met factory specifications. The pressure switch passed. The inside of the air duct is dirty. Completed warranty change out of air purification system and tested operations. Air purifier operating properly. Informed the customer that the lamp will need to be changed out one year from today. Carol would like a call from a customer service representative to go over the warranty that is remaining on their install and accessories.

Air cleaner was non-responsive after lamp replacement. Manufacturer approved warranty replacement of the assembly. Return visit needed for tomorrow to complete the installation

Air purification unit is not operating properly. This was the source of the beeping that John and Carol reported. Attempted to contact tech support but their office was closed for the day. Calling tomorrow morning to enquire about their warranty, what's included in it, and how soon they can have their air purifier up and running again. Assisted Carol in removing some automatic features from their EcoBee thermostat to make it easier to "set it and forget it."
