Arrive to customers for a furnace tuneup and during the process of the inspection we Received a high call on static pressure along with discovering a shortage of CFM on the supply chain of the duct system. All other components met within factory specs

One furnace is getting replaced due to a carbon monoxide leak. Other furnace failed static pressure. Did a carbon monoxide and gas leak test, no leaks. Did a combustion analysis, it passed. Inducer motor amperage passed. Gas pressure and pressure switch passed. Exhaust flu is in good condition. Blower wheel is clean and blower motor amperage passed. Filter got replaced. Arrived for furnace maintenance today. Started by checking static pressure and it is passing today. Carbon monoxide test was 0ppm. Heat exchanger looks good. Blower wheel is clean. I changed the furnace filter today. All electrical components are running properly at this time. There is a good temperature split between the return air and supply air. Arrived for furnace maintenance today. Started by checking static pressure and found it is failing at this time. A field supervisor is out to diagnose further. Carbon monoxide test was 0ppm. Heat exchanger has heat stress, no holes or cracks. Blower wheel is starting to collect dust. Fan motor is running a little high, caused by the static pressure. All other electrical components are running properly at this time. System is running upon departure. Thanks for choosing LBA.

Arrived for furnace maintenance today. Checked static pressure and found it is failing. Heat exchanger has no rust or cracks at this time. Carbon monoxide test was 0ppm. Blower wheel needs to be cleaned. I replaced furnace filter with a 1 inch filter, it will last 1 month. All electrical components are running properly at this time. We will reach out at the beginning of the year to get together and discuss the failed static. System is running upon departure. Thanks for choosing LBA.

Upon arrival I began the furnace tune up. First, I did a static pressure test on the unit. This system is rated for a maximum of .5 and your system is testing at .72 which is failing currently. My Field Supervisor is on his way over to figure out why the static pressure is so high. Next, I checked the running amps on the inducer and blower motor and both were testing within manufacturer specifications. I cleaned the flame sensor, replaced the furnace filter, set the humidifier up for this winter. I took a temperature split on the system which should stay between 25 to 55 degrees and when I first tested it, the system was at 57 degrees which was too hot. So, I lowered the gas valve just a tiny bit and now I’ve got it down under the max at 52 degrees which is good. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call us! Did a co test no co was detected when testing. Inspected heat exchanger no wear and tear. Blower wheel is collecting dust just something to be aware about. No further wear and tear. Upon arrival I began the furnace tune up. First, I ran a static pressure test. Your system is rated for a maximum static pressure of .5 and your system is testing at .48 which is passing. Next, I checked the running amps on the inducer and blower motor and both were within specifications. I cleaned the flame sensor, cleared the hoses and pressure switches. Filter was replaced recently, it’s still very white and clean. I did notice the system has no humidifier and that is something she is interested in.
