Arrived for furnace maintenance today. Started by checking static pressure and found it is failing. A field supervisor is out to discuss further. Carbon monoxide test was 0ppm. Heat exchanger is looking good. Blower wheel is picking up dust and should be cleaned soon. All electrical components are running properly at this time. The main issue is the failed static and the affects it can have on a system. System is running upon leaving. Thanks for choosing LBA.

Went for a maintenance call today. When going to air handler. Temp split is passing. Heat strips are passing as well as blower motor amperage. Did notice capacitor is failing for system. Did recommend for replacement. Customer declined at this time. Condenser is passing in refrigerant and electrical components. Did notice duct work could use a clean as well. Since filter was collecting a lot of dust on filter for only a month. No further wear and tear. Thank you for choosing LBA services-Johann.

Arrived for furnace maintenance today. Checked static pressure and found it is passing today. Carbon monoxide test was 0 ppm. Heat exchanger has no rust or cracks. All electrical components are running properly at this time. There’s a good temp split between supply and return air. System is running upon departure. Thanks for choosing LBA.

12/2/24. Stopped into Trane after calling multiple times and was able to order a warranty valve in. The part had to be matched. There is some concern about the valve number not matching, It cross referenced Arrival time for the part will be updated tomorrow when it is available.

Arrived to do a performance maintenance. Set system to run and the heat pump started up and ran. Measured a temperature split and static pressure. Found that the system is operating with failing static pressure. Spoke with homeowner about the system and they declined finishing the diagnosis on the systems static pressure. Switched system over to gas heat. Set up for combustion analysis. Verified operation of all mechanical and electronic components in the furnace. Cleaned the flame sensor and retested its performance. Checked blower for cleanliness and to see if there is any play in the bearings. Found that the blower wheel was very dirty and was hastily cleaned. Checked systems heat exchanger to ensure proper venting of flue gas. Found that the heat exchanger was heavily coated in dust debris. Checked for carbon monoxide in the air stream. Performed an electronic gas leak search. Spoke with homeowner about the system. Furnace is operational at this time.

Arrived to customer’s For a furnace tuneup, and during the inspection, we received a high call on static pressure along with discovering it dusty blower wheel, and also a shortage CFM count on return truck. Other than that it’s all other components met within factory specs.

Checked in on Tyler’s readings today. Airflow checks were outstanding. Discussed adding a humidifier to system. Customer appreciated the info but prefers it to stay more dry. Definitely a candidate for adding a dehumidifier in the Spring.

Upon arrival I began the furnace tune up. First, I did a static pressure test. This system is rated for a maximum of .9 and your system tested at .5 which is within specifications! Next, I checked the running amps on the inducer motor and blower motor and both were within specs. I cleaned the flame sensor. I tested for CO levels and found Zero PPM(parts per million). I checked the Heat Exchanger which had no cracks at this time. I did find some rust on the heat exchanger but nothing to worry about right now. I also looked at the evaporator coil and it was clean. The Air Scrubber bulb is due to be replaced since it was replaced 2 years ago. I quoted her for a new bulb but she had her son get one online and installed it for free so it’s much cheaper for her to go that route. The temperature rise was at 30 degrees which is within specifications. If you have any questions or concerns please call us. Have a great week! P.S. No payment was due for todays visit.

Diagnosed and replaced failed transducer. Rebuilt condensate drain line. Replaced broken horizontal vent termination kit. Tested operations for 25 minutes with the furnace door off. Tested an additional 20 with the furnace door on. System operates in cooling and heating modes.
