Changed carbon filter. Warranty. Water tested poorly even with this system.
Inspected halo 3 mini system and will be changing carbon filter under warranty. Found that filtration is not connected to kitchen sink as plumbing is run “funny”. There are 2 shutoffs in the home for the original plumbing and an addition that is plumb separately. Upon opening floor board noticed kitchen sink is disconnected under floor at dwv line. Unable to get into crawl space to see why or how it was disconnected.
When for a maintenance call today. Upon arrival customer states house is cooling properly. When checking furnace did replace filter. Tested for static pressure. Static was failing had a supervisor come out with customer approval. Did notice blower wheel was dirty. Recommend for a cleaning, customer will decide at a later time. The amperage for the blower motor is passing. Drain line is clean. When going to the outside unit. Did clean out the unit. When testing for amperage, the compressor and fan. They are passing, as well as the capacitor. The refrigerant pressure are passing as well. Both systems up and running. Thank you for choosing LBA services.

Upon arrival the AC was not blowing any cold air. After inspection I found the outdoor unit compressor was not turning on to move the refrigerant. I tested the dual run capacitor that runs the fan and compressor and the compressor side was completely dead. I replaced the capacitor at the homeowner request. Tested the system after installing new capacitor and system started right up. I checked running amps on all motors and checked refrigerant charge and everything else looks good. System is cooling the home properly at this time. If you have any questions or concerns please call us! Have a great week!
Arrived for ac maintenance today. Started at furnace and checked static pressure, temperature splits, drains, filter, blower motor amps, and blower wheel. Found static pressure was failing. Did not want to pursue it any farther. Found the filter was dirty and changed with provided filter. Found the blower wheel was dirty and needs to be cleaned. At the ac unit I checked refrigerant levels, capacitor, contactor, running amps, and coil. Here I found the coil is collecting debris. Presented options for blower wheel cleaning and extensive coil cleaning. Needs to talk it over with husband. Thanks for choosing LBA.
HALO Mini 3 with PRV. Upon arrival turned main water off at ball valve behind water heater, routed main line to newly installed Halo 3 mini, then routed back into main water feed. Also installed new PRV before Halo 3 mini. Inspected for leaks by turning main 2ater back on and airing out lines through all fixtures. All good no leaks present and all fixtures are working properly.
Went for a warranty call. Did check for static and was failing. Rated for a .5 we were at a 1.29. When checking air handler we did notice the water sensor was tripped. Due to humidity did reset it. As well as clean the drain line since it was clogged. Did talk to customer about static kindly declined. Thank you for choosing LBA services.
Arrived for ac tune up today. Started at furnace and checked static, blower wheel and amps, drains, temp splits, and filter. All operations are working properly here. The filter was just changed by Mike but with a merv 13. Out at ac unit all operations are within specs and working properly. I rinsed the coil clean. System running upon leaving. Hanks for choosing LBA.
It a live call. A follow up supposed to be canceled by office

Arrived for AC Maintenance. Static pressure failed. Checked filter and dampers, still failed. Customer did not want a supervisor out. All electronics in furnace within range. Heat exchanger showed heat stress. Blower wheel dirty. Temp split good. Refrigerant levels good. Ac capacitor getting low. Cleaned outside coil
Duct cleaned
Air Conditioning Repair Service: In response to a service call concerning an air conditioner's inadequate cooling performance, I conducted a detailed inspection. Upon investigation, it became evident that the refrigerant levels were significantly depleted, severely compromising the unit's cooling efficiency. To rectify this issue, I carefully replenished the refrigerant, ensuring it reached the optimal level necessary for effective cooling. Subsequently, I rigorously tested the system to confirm that it was once again capable of delivering the desired cooling capacity and comfort. After confirming that the system was functioning optimally, I shared details about our maintenance plans with the homeowner to ensure the continued excellent performance of their system.
Furnace Inducer Motor Replacement: Responding to a malfunctioning inducer motor in a furnace, I promptly replaced the motor. This meticulous replacement ensured proper ventilation and efficient heating, providing the homeowner with a reliable and well-ventilated environment.

Checked all operations in heating mode and inspected the furnace filter. Checked static pressure and found that it wasnt passing so the customer and I went around the home to make sure all vents were open. The unit didn’t have no dampers on it and no clean filter. I didn’t have the right size filter on the truck. So I did the retest and the static pressure was still not passin so with customers approval we will have a field supervisor come out to evaluate. Checked all electrical components and preformed an combustion analysis. I checked the heat exchanger it had no rust spots and no cracks in it. The blower wheel had buildup and dirt on it but the customer didn’t want to do anything at this time. All electrical components were operating properly and the furnace fuel was burning properly as well.
Upon arrival checked all components in the heating mode couldn’t test static or CFM counts due to the restriction of how the furnace was placed checked all electrical components noticed that the capacitor for the inducer motor itself was reading lower than what the manufacturer stated. I also took a look at the blower wheel and noticed that it was pretty dirty couldn’t access the heating heat exchanger due to it being blocked by the gas valves itself. I’ll let the customer know what was going on. He mentioned to me that he could get that replaced himself. He used to work as an HVAC technician and has that those things to get it replaced.
For this job, I was performing routine maintenance on a furnace. All electrical components were operating well within manufacture, specifications or safety switches and gas levels were good blower wheel was dirty and needed to get cleaned and there is no surge protection on the system whatsoever. I brought this up with the homeowner. However, we are not taking any steps to fix this at this time. Static pressure of the system is rated for .9. And it is currently sitting right at that limit. I let the customer know about this and call the supervisor to look at solutions as to why this is so high. Currently evaluating.
Whole-House Humidity Control System Installation: Responding to a homeowner's request for thorough humidity management, I proposed and carried out the installation of a whole-house humidity control system. After conducting a comprehensive assessment of the property, I strategically positioned the system to ensure maximum coverage. The installation process included seamless integration with the HVAC unit, guaranteeing consistent operation and uniform humidity levels across the entire residence. I also conducted a detailed walkthrough of the system's features and settings, enabling the homeowner to effectively regulate and maintain optimal humidity for enhanced comfort and indoor air quality.
