AC and furnace check. Air conditioner, condenser and evaporator coil all looks good with appropriate refrigerant levels. All electrical components operating well within manufacture specifications. I did notice that the capacitor on the outdoor unit was getting a bit low, but we added a hard start kit and a compressor saver to help the overall performance and lifespan of the unit. Downstairs the humidifier appeared not to be working and this is mostly because there’s quite a bit of calcium in the water. Kansas is known to have very hard water and often times people will get water softeners to alleviate this problem. Because of this calcium buildup, it was clogging the water filter inside the solenoid valve after I cleared it out it was operating again. If this issue with the water is not fixed however, at some point, the solenoid valve will go bad and they will most likely be other issues with the plumbing in the house. Arrived to do a performance maintenance. Started inspection inside and measured power consumption of the blower motor. Measured temperature split between return and supply air. Tested systems static pressure. Went outside and checked systems refrigerant levels. Found that the system is low on refrigerant indicating a leak in the refrigerant system. Spoke with homeowner and reached out to a field supervisor. Performed a refrigerant leak search. Found that the evaporator coil is leaking refrigerant. Shared information with field supervisor to build estimates to accommodate repair and replacement options.

Went for an ac inspection today. Did a static pressure test, it failed. Changed the filter. Temperature split between the supply and return duct passed. Blower motor amperage passed. Completed cooling maintenance on rtu. Changed filters, cleaned coil, checked contactor, checked amp draw on compressor, checked amp draw on blower motor, checked bearings on blower motor and condenser motor, and took temp split. Unit is functioning properly at this time

Came out here for AC maintenance upon arrival test static on both units. Both units were good. Take temperature splits for the AC mode. All units were within range of what we were looking for both units. Blowers were clean nowhere in tear on the unit itself the coils for the outside units were clean no fault codes on the Bosch units all filters for Mini splits were clean. Everything was in working order. Replaced filters for both units as well thank you for choosing LBA services.

By far the best technician we’ve had since the installation of our unit! Johann was polite, did not press the static pressure/supervisor come out etc etc etc and overall a great experience. We’ve had him before and had a great experience however he must be in high demand because it’s been a few years since he performed our annual tuneup. Best option that we penciled in is basically a guaranteed fix so we would add ductwork to both sides of the system as well as a sweeping boot and a pan and a new filter box. We would also include the club membership for free credit back the $47 tuneup And if you come to a decision soon an additional 5%. Because Shannon‘s wife is a nurse we can give him a discount for first responder as well.

for this job, I was performing maintenance on an air-conditioning unit. Upon checking everything looked good as far as safety and refrigerant levels go. Pressures were way off, but this is due to airflow. After checking the furnace it was clear that we are missing quite a bit of air on the supply side and the return side of the system. The return site is definitely the worst. If we can fix this issue, we will get way more airflow way less stress on the system itself. less running time more velocity, and less wear and tear on the heat exchanger and the motors. Not to mention the pressure switches and the inducer. It would also be beneficial to do a areoseal Estimate
My husband and I were both in our living room with the front door open from 9:45-11 today waiting for Dree to come or call or text. Never heard from him. Then I see and e-mail asking for a review from near by. When I was reading other reviews I see Dree posted an up date from 10:36 this morning that said customer didn’t respond.

P/u motor and cap 3/19/25 ———- Quote to replace the failed blower motor in the Lennox package unit serial 5623A06898 marked as #2 serving the breakroom. Price includes the factory parts and labor. Proper unit operation will be verified in all modes after repairs, any further repairs if required will be quoted separately.

Here for a AC tuneup upon arrival tested static static was failing customer is aware and going to leave it as is took a look at the rest of the unit. Everything else is reading fine compressor amps and fan amps were good readings on the capacitor. I notice that that the fan side of things is extremely low and prone to failure, which I didn’t mention to the customer. Customer is going to hold off on getting it replaced for now Thank you for choosing lba services.

Wanted $1200 to install new sump pump but after calling around, I guess that’s the going rate. I went and purchased one myself from Home Depot for $150 and installed it in 15 minutes. Don’t really know how they can charge what they do.

Brady did a great job installing a Novo water softener and filtration system as warranty replacement for the original unit. His only shortcoming was in not familiarizing himself with the entire plumbing layout, he failed to notice that the valve directing water through the filtration system was turned in the opposite direction, thus forcing the water to bypass it and go directly to the tankless water heater. Fortunately, I am intimately familiar with this layout and was thus able to turn the valve in the proper direction. Brady left here thinking our water was being treated by the system because he had set it to do so (at 25 ppm hardness), but he never actually tested the water at one of the taps. After my wife Paula reported that Brady had completed the job, I tested the water at the kitchen tap and found it to be at 125 ppm (which is the same hardness as the water provided by the City of Olathe. I can confirm that after I made the valve adjustment referenced above, our tap water is consistently at 25 ppm. I can excuse Brady's small (but critically important) error due to the complexity of our water supply system, as well as the tedious history of our problems with it.
My, now prior, hvac service provider failed to contact me back and provide and estimate on when a technician could look at my furnace when it quit working on a Saturday evening. I eventually called LBA, and the on-call technician called me back and worked out a plan to come look at my furnace late that night/early Sunday morning. Patrick was very professional and did a great job of finding an issue and getting the furnace running again. Unfortunately it quit again later that morning. After contacting LBA again, Patrick reached out letting me know where I was on the list. He again was very professional and troubleshot the issue, explaining everything along the way. He didn't leave until he was certain the unit was operational enough to work until Monday so a new switch can be installed. Very impressed with the dedication and professionalism shown. Have already switched my service to LBA. Great job and thank you Patrick!

Called LBA with concerns about a noisy furnace. Nick & JJ came same day. Both were patient with my questions and were professional the entire visit. They explained in detail (in language I could understand) what the issue was. If you have A/C, Heating or Plumbing needs, you can trust LBA! Call them, you will not be disappointed!
Eli put the water heater in himself. No problems after kitchen faucet was found with no hot water. Eli corrected this issue before he left. Good service as usual.

I had appointment on a Monday, but LBA had to reschedule due to emergency calls and my appointment was just a tune up. So LBA was able to get to me by Friday the same week. They made me aware my furnace needed to be replaced because of carbon monoxide leaking into our home. Bad timing on this cost and we cannot afford a new furnace.
