Arrive to customers for a furnace tuneup, and during the process of the inspection, we discovered dirty filter. All other components met within factory specs, magnificently

Upon arrival, determined that issue was plastic plug in dishwasher drain molded from factory was not removed, removed it and tested and everything is working beautifully. Thank you for choosing LBA services!

Arrived to do a performance maintenance. Set up for combustion analysis temperature split and static pressure tests. Verified operation of all mechanical and electronic components of the furnace. Checked blower for cleanliness and to see if there is any play in the bearings. Checked systems heat exchanger to ensure proper venting of flue gas. Performed an electronic gas leak search. Verified operation of the humidifier. While doing so the saddle valve started leaking water. Performed the necessary repairs on the shut off valve for the humidifier and remade the hot water feed from water heater to the house. Furnace humidifier and water heater are operational at this time.

Arrived to remedy a humidifier that is inoperable. Upon inspection of the humidifier found that the solenoid valve is not responding to the commands of the humidistat. Made sure the solenoid valve is receiving its electrical signal. Made sure it is receiving water from the shutoff valve. Determined the solenoid is failed, or clogged with calcium buildup. Looked over the furnace to ensure there isn’t anything else obviously causing any problems with the system. Found that the blower wheel is coated in dust debris. Spoke with homeowner about the repair. With homeowners approval went to get the new solenoid valve. Returned with valve and removed the old water panel. Cleaned up the diffuser bracket and installed a new water panel. Removed the old solenoid valve and flushed the water line. Doing this helps remove any calcium buildup that may be leftover. Mounted the new solenoid valve and plumbed it into the system. Wired in the new valve. Tested humidifier operation to ensure it won’t leak

12-17-24 Cambridge unit in the loading docks it’s not heating valve belts are bad precious switch won’t close to bring leaves to keep the blower running down covers off it off and open. I need to return to replace the belt belts sometime next week I hope. More notes to write though

Completed furnace maintenance and inspection. I checked all components and amp draws. I tested airflow and temp splits. I cleaned up furnace and cleaned flame sensor. Static pressure is over max so the airflow is considered field by manufacturer specifications. I changed out humidifier pad and installed smart ac sensors. Furnace is running at departure. DATE: 12/17/24 Detailed description of what was done today: arrived at home and spoke with Steve about reason I was called today, which was for a water heater install. After signing off on paperwork and letting him know how I was going to approach today’s install I got started on disassembling and drain an old water heater. after completing the disassembly and removal of the old water heater I got prepped to install the new one which included of threading on all pro press fittings and dry fitting all copper pipes to ensure it could be installed properly. After pro pressing everything in place I turn on water to test water heater. After successful test I cleaned up work area. Collected signatures and payment and headed out. Wear and Tear: -NA After reviewing the entire house I went over everything with Steve to ensure they understood everything going on in the house and what could be done to address it. Out today for small leak on water softener drain elbow after recent install. Upon inspection, discovered that hose clamp on drain elbow had minor rust and was not quite snug, also hose clamp was upside down which could very well lead to additional moisture. Snugged up and informed homeowner that from my perception everything looks beautiful, also inspected npe 240a2 in basement for functionality, everything seems to be working smoothly at this time. Cleaned up work area did not collect. Thank you for choosing LBA services!

Completed furnace maintenance for customer. All aspects of system tested within manufacturer specifications. No recommendations at this time.

Had a service call today. Furnace wasn’t draining properly, drain was going slightly up hill, also the inducer housing had water in it. After adjusting the drain and cleaning the inducer housing, the furnace is draining properly. Thank you for choosing this LBA services!

Upon arrival I began the furnace tune up. This is a 2021 Trane System. First, I ran the static pressure test. This unit is rated for a maximum of .7 static pressure and it’s testing at .85 which is over the max. I spoke to the customer about this, the last tech tried to sell a 25k airflow package for this unit last time out. I don’t think it needs anywhere close to that much done to it. It’s above the max by .15. Next, I checked the running amps on the inducer and blower motor and both were amping within manufacturer specifications. I cleaned the flame sensor, replaced the filter with a new one size 20x25x1 inch. The temperature split was at 120 degree - 70 degree puts the temp rise within specs at 50 degrees. Installed new customer supplied kitchen faucet and sink. Went from double compartment to single compartment, re plumbed for single compartment. Tested for leaks. Cleaned up. As of right now homeowner has not paid, told homeowner office will reach out tomorrow to collect payment for work completed.
