Went for an air handler tune up. Filter is clean. Static pressure test, passed. Temp split between the supply and return duct passed. Heat kit passed. Evaporator coil is in good condition. Drain is working fine, no clogs. Blower motor amperage passed and blower wheel is clean. Thank you for choosing LBA services!

Came out here for a furnace tuneup upon arrival tested static static was passing all electronics within the furnace itself and working perfectly fine. Replaced filter, cleaned out flame sensor ensure that all operations within the furnace cycle are working perfectly fine. Customer did notify me that she would like to look into a humidifier for the home, I recommended having a UV light as well. If you were going with the humidifier just to protect it and keep the whole system clean itself. Customer decided to go ahead and get both of those things done today. Installed humidifier install uvc light and replaced a 6 inch run for them . Thank you for choosing LBA

Went for a furnace inspection today. Changed the filter. Did a static pressure test, it passed. Did a carbon monoxide leak test, twice with different meters and there is a leak. Thank you for for choosing LBA services!

Findings: - food (eggshells) around the floor drain - Water tested with 5 gallon bucket and it drained slowly - Ran washer and drained it, the water burped and was breathing up/down in drain - Ran backpack while draining washer again and the same thing - All the branchlines above ground are plastic Solution: - mini jet branchlines from a c/o on the kitchen stack - Run mini jet back and forth through tough areas - Scope line when finished to see if more repairs are needed

Arrived for furnace maintenance today. System is an air handler. Static pressure is passing. Blower wheel is clean. There’s a good temperature split between the return and supply air. All electrical components are running properly at this time. I set up smart ac today and changed the furnace filter. System is running upon departure. Thanks for choosing LBA.

12-5-24 Spoke to Sherry upon arrival, she made it very clear and we can’t leave any screws or anything up on the roof. Make sure all the panels are on. Not a Problem Completed RTU # 6 through 12 Diego has the checkout sheets RTU#12 feeds the customers drive thur bay. We had an issue with possibly the ignition module or the inducer motor relay. It needs to be diagnosed further. Pick up multiple screws on the deck I did find a 1” long gas in the roof material next to RTU#11 We did not remove any of the panels from this unit yet this was found before we even started doing a check out. I circled it with a red marker I gave a picture to Sherry so she can have the roofer come out and fix that before it becomes an issue.

Went for an out today. When going to heat pump previous company quoted that reversing valve wasn’t shifting properly. Did test the reverse valve and wasn’t making and noises and shifting properly. Did notice fan amperage were running near max rating. Capacitor is passing when testing. Refrigerant pressure are within range. Notified customer is noise does occur again to record and have us come out again.

Returning Wednesday for repair

Went for a repair call today. When going to furnace tested for voltage. No power coming from thermostat or board. Board keep tripping fuse with popper. Bad board will be installed Monday.

Static decline

Arrived to customers for a furnace tuneup in during the inspection we received a high call on static pressure along with discovering a dirty Secondary drain trap. All other components met within factory specs.

RTP on 1 star duct upgrade package. Customer not interested in repairing this issue. Mainly price points. But also says he knows people that he trusts that can do it for much less. He wasn't interested in working out any deals with my supervisor. He appreciated the information and will handle the situation himself or with his own contractors. He feels as though adding supply vents isn't worth anything close to our quote. And more so he is leaning on his "iron clad" warranty that states 12 years anything goes wrong, that it's covered. I tried to explain efficiency and leakage concerns. All to no avail.

Arrived to remedy an inoperable system. Upon inspection of the system found the furnace doing nothing despite a call for heat on the thermostat. Turned system off and bypassed the thermostat to ensure the furnace tries to heat. Found that the system was cycling on the gas valve stage of ignition. Found the red tag for the failed heat exchanger on the gas shutoff for the furnace. Checked the heat exchanger and found that the heat exchanger is cracked. Tested the static pressure of the system and found it maxing out my meter. This is a direct cause of heat exchanger failures. Field supervisor took over building repair and replacement options. Strongly recommend fixing static pressure when replacing the furnace to protect the new equipment.
