DATE: 9/4/24 Detailed description of what was done today: , and spoke with homeowner about reason I was called today. in sync logged. After completing five star, I did fall inspection of homes, plumbing, created, wear and tear list presented and started doing work. Ran backpack down kitchen drain and was unsuccessful to remove blockage, got a bigger, backpack coil, and ran again after being unsuccessful for both times, I ran camera down to figure out exactly where the blockage was. I had a supervisor come out. We quoted for a disassembling and also a pipe placement. Customer declined and moment and said that she would call back to schedule when she want to get it fixed. Wear and Tear: -5 feet pipe repair After reviewing the entire house I went over everything with Mary Sue to ensure they understood everything going on in the house and what could be done to address it. Arrived for no cool call. Tested static pressure and found it is failing. A field supervisor be out to discuss. I found bad capacitor on blower motor, a dirty blower wheel, and a bad capacitor on the ac unit. Nick will discuss all options with you. Thanks for choosing LBA.

Arrived to remedy an inoperable system. Upon inspection of the system found the furnace cycling air like it would for a call for cooling. Performed an airflow test on the furnace and found the system operating with failing static pressure. Changed out the filter and found that the system is still operating with failing static pressure. Reached out to a field supervisor to finish the diagnosis on the systems static pressure. Performed a visual inspection inside the furnace looking for obvious causes of the static pressure within the system. Found excessive heat stress on the systems heat exchanger. Found that the blower wheel is heavily coated in dust debris. Without finding a cause of the system not cooling, went outside and inspected the outside unit. Performed diagnostic and found that the capacitor for the condenser fan and compressor has fully failed. Replaced the capacitor and performed diagnostic on the unit. Water heater installation. The old water heater was removed and a new tankless system was installed. Upon completion the system was tested, ensuring all connections were secure and leak-free.

Plumbing repair. A homeowner noticed that their kitchen sink was draining slowly, indicating a clog in the pipes. After inspection, we removed the P-trap under the sink and found it filled with food debris. By cleaning out the P-trap and reassembling it, the sink's drainage was restored to normal, solving the problem.

Completed Ac inspection for customer. All aspects of system tested within manufacturer specifications aside from high static pressures. Static pressures are causing refrigerant pressures to appear low due to lack of airflow on supply side. Turned over to field supervisor for advisement. System operating normally upon departure.

DATE: 8/22/24 Detailed description of what was done today: arrived at home, and spoke with Deborah the reason I was called today, which was a main drain clog backing up into multiple floor drains within home. Afternoon five-star I did full inspection and diagnostic of problem. That included of a camera inspection of all floor drains leading to the main and the main clean out. I was unsuccessful any camera through main clean out due to the pipe being rusted out and on accessible. I was able to run through floor drain all the way out to 34 feet to a blockage in the yard from a tree route. After assessing with Lee , we did thorough inspection of us at home and created wear and tear list as well as quote for a new drain. Wear and Tear: -PRV, MEV, water heater, washer shut off and supply line, kitchen sink, garbage, disposal. After reviewing the entire house I went over everything with Debra to ensure they understood everything going on in the house and what could be done to address it

The technician asked me if I minded if he contacted his supervisor to show possible ways to increase the airflow on my current system. I wasn’t interested in a new system at this time, as the fix was a simple wire, but a supervisor did show up to look at the work I thought. Once it was made clear I wasn’t interested in a new system, this supervisor Charged me $190 and left fairly abruptly. I have not yet received a receipt to see what the charge entails, but I have received emails for customer satisfaction surveys for each of the individuals that were at my home…??

The technician was friendly and knowledgeable about my situation. He discovered I needed a thermostat & quoted me a price of over $370 to buy & install a thermostat. An outrageously high Price to pay for a 30 minute job & a $20-? amount of money to pay for the thermostat. Also, regarding "Covid" protection: The technician DID NOT wear a mask. As he was leaving, I asked him about it & he stated: that if the customer didn't have a mask on, he didn't put one on either, which I believe is not right. Your technicians should protect themselves & their customers. Thanks for allowing me to express my opinions.
